Comment by Eden Adele on May 23, 2012 at 10:08pm Thank you for the invitation, Elizabeth. As a gratitude gesture, I offer to the group a complimentary .pdf of my Action Guide. It's a 30-day plan of specific tasks and activities that will introduce or reacquaint you with your authentic self. It's a big concept to break down into practical steps, but that's exactly what this 48-page guide does. I hope you find it useful. Much love. SatisFillment: Your PROVEN Pathway to POWER
I also wanted to share that one of my books, "40 Day LoveFest for You: a daily practice of self-love and reflection" will be FREE to everyone to download from Amazon, tomorrow, May 24! Click here - should be available about the whole 24 hour period Thursday May 24 :-) The book shares a simple practice to be happier and more successful in just 2 minutes a day!
I read two inspirational books this weekend, "A man and his wife through the storm" by Cynthia Hatcher and "Learning to Walk by Faith, not by Sight" by Tracy Kingsbury. I was amazed by the faith-filled miracles experienced by Tracy, very inspirational!
Comment by Carol Fillmore on May 23, 2012 at 1:13pm At present, I am three quarters through "The Man From Beijing" by Henning Mankell. Why reading...an avid mystery/suspense fan and this is a new author to me. Knows how to keep the reader on the edge of their seat!
Comment by Norms on May 23, 2012 at 10:15am I just finished reading "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot. It seemed to sum up over 30 years of studing, researching, and curiosity... pity I didn't find it years ago, it was most interesting. Even more so, after finishing reading this book, so far I've heard others describe our life as a hologram twice... chance I guess, but does raise an eyebrow lol... Now, I'm opening the pages to read "The Cancer Cure That Worked" by Barry Lynes.
Comment by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino on May 23, 2012 at 8:33am I am reading Cyndi Dale's "The Intuition Guidebook". Very interesting read.
So, I have FINALLY finished the Mini Shopaholic book I started aaaaages ago!! To be honest, I didnt really enjoy it compaired to the rest in the series! Now I have just started to read a book by Elizabeth Chandler called Dark Secrets, Legacy of Lies...I only started it yesterday so not past the first chapter yet and never read any of Elizabeths books before but so far its really good =) I will keep you updated!!
Comment by Gail VanWart on March 29, 2012 at 7:15am Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist is my all time favorite book. Amazing how that man can bring a story to life.
This year, I read two books by Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist and Aleph
Each was amazing and touched me emotionally. I now follow his blog and podcasts and he has great advice for writers as well :-)
Comment by Gail VanWart on February 7, 2012 at 12:35pm Libraries are great places to re-connect with as adults. We do tend to overlook many wonderful programs libraries offer us,too, for free or at little cost. Plus, there is always a book there to suit any mood or season.
